Or bake them and heap chopped brisket and cheddar cheese on top of them. That’s how I had one for lunch today.

Truth be told, there are a very limited number of ways I actually like to eat potatoes. However, I needed deeply to engage in some kind of shitposting, and my brain said “uhhh.... potato. potato gif?” so I posted something returned by a search for “potato gif”. Really.
That does look good, though, although I’d use those ingredients as more of a scallopey type thing.

So, MCM put out a video in the not to distant past where they actually had HP gains from a potato, jackie-chan-how.jpg!!!! Is it back pressure related?

Haven’t watched it, though Urambo Tauro linked it here. Backpressure is not really a thing, though - the only “helpful” backpressure is having enough to keep the hot gasses collecting properly/in less turbulent flow through a pipe at high speed. That’s why zoomies are better than no manifold at all.
My guess would be the computer doing something dumb, like thinking it was under more load and adjusting the injection/etc.

Scallops work for me, too. I just love potatoes. Which is probably a bad thing since they’re so carby and starchy.

You can also deep fry ‘em...

Those aren’t chips (as you Brits repeatedly claim), those are sticks... or fries... or french fried potatoes. THESE are chips:
Yeah yeah... I know you Brits call chips ‘crisps’... WELL YOU’RE ALL WRONG!!!

Our language, our rules. You gave up on it, therefore any input is void.
The American term of French Fries comes from some Americans in Belgium during the first world war and are not French, but frenched as in the type of cut of the potato.
Some say, ‘but they come from France!’, well they call them pomme de terre frites, pomme frites, patates frites or simply frites in France and any French man will tell you, ‘they are not French fries’.
So nurrrrr. Lol.
